Dear Integrity:
About three weeks ago I called to ask that someone come out and look at the
roofing job which was done last summer because some water was getting in
between where the back gutter connects to the house and the newly-shinged eave,
thus dripping down right at the patio doors were one enters/exits the house. My
husband wondered if it was a shingling issue.
A vehicle of employees showed up and the gentleman got his ladder and inspected
the area in question. He explained that it was not a roofing problem, per se, but that
the gutter was angled incorrectly and a couple of the screws had come loose,
thereby making a gap where the water was coming down the eave before it actually
got to the gutter. He went ahead and tightened the screws even though the problem
was not the roofing. Before I could ask him what the charge was for that, he was
gone!! I wanted to thank you for running a business that has an "old-fashioned"
kindness about it - to correct a problem that did not really "belong" to you. It was so
surprising to me, and I intended to write a thank you note much sooner than today.
So I apologize for my delay, but I thank you again for the kind service done that day
that DID eliminate the dripping water at my patio doors!!
